vombaur was founded in 1805 in Wuppertal, Germany, while JUMBO-Textil was founded in 1909. Since 2019, vombaur and JUMBO-Textil have pooled their skills and experience under the umbrella of the Textation Group. The two main shareholders, Andreas Kielholz and Peter vom Baur, together hold two thirds of the shares. This means that the benefits which family-managed businesses enjoy are upheld in the newly created constellation.
